Sorry, I am puter challenged. I have a zone alarm alert that comes up. it says SERVER PROGRAM Internet Explorer wants to accept connection to internet. there are 2 of them and one has 209.172.0.5DNS and the other has 209.172.0.8DNS. I dont know what they are and I deny but have no clue what they are and if i should accept or deny. I had been downloading AT&T CD to change ISP but cancelled. I uninstalled all the Yahoo things from the control panel and rebooted. Right after that this alert started coming up. Every time I go to a web page it comes up.
Thanks so much,
ladynimrod

I would say that since they keep asking for permission even though you denied them that they are probably safe to allow. First however answer this: Are you not able to run any programs when you don't allow those?

Is this the company you pay for internet services.
If so, check the remember this setting and allow access.

Well, do I feel dumber or what? My own ISP huh? How do you find out this stuff? I really thank you for your time. I know enough to turn the darn puter on and play some games but when something happens I dont have a clue what to do. This site is AWESOME!!!
Thanks so much

thanks so much for the help. The name refers to my deerhunting. Sure isnt on the puter.
I looked at your website and you know what? I have no clue what all that means.
I have the AVG Free and Zone Alarm on the puter and my ISP I guess furnishes some. Means alot to me that I found this website and hopefully I wont need it but if I do, sure will be back.
Have a great day.

Glad it refers to hunting, not the other.

To keep you safe online, here is a link you don't have to hunt for.
