ok.. I've been reading around this site and online.. I've had this computer for a few months now and running Zone Alarm Security Suite since the beginning. When my brother finished playing a game online (AOE to be exact) my computer froze.. I rebooted and.. zone alarm uses up to 100% of the CPU freezing everything and making everything go really slow when it starts up..as soon as I turn it off everything loads and works fine.
I think I had this problem before which I solved by uninstalling and re-installing.
I now noticed in the top bar next to the lock that only three programs show up after I close and re-open it. They all say Generic Host Process for Win32 services.. which I think is part of the problem why it's using so much CPU.. It has access to everything so that shouldn't be a problem..
any ideas how I could get rid of this problem? and maybe evade it next time I play?
