Comment: I quit updating Zone Alarm quite awhile back. All the updates add new features that are outside the firewall arena. This program is going to be as bloated as a Norton program soon, and just as buggy.

Reply: (edit)Many firewall vendors are going the route you describe. Outpost and Kerio both come to mind. Zone Alarm does offer the PLUS Edition, that provides all the email protection and just plain good firewall, if simplicity is what you want. Take care and all the best!
