Solved Yet more problems with Trusteer Rapport

Specs: Windows 8.1, Pentium CPU B960 2.2 GHz/8GB RAM
Recently had an issue with Rapport where I was advised by Trusteer "support" to uninstall and re-install. They sent me uninstall instructions that entailed entering safe mode at which point my computer denied me access and I had to get an engineer, at great expense, to remove the hard drive and install it in another machine in order to create an administrator's account to let me back into the computer. Trusteer support was useless and dropped me saying they could not be responsible for third party software!!
Whose third party software - I was only following their uninstall instructions. I am now making it my life's work to slag off Trusteer at every opportunity. I checked with my bank (who agreed it was crap software) and they are not bothered whether I use it or not. I just wish I had the nerve to complete the uninstall!

No, I didn't Google it first. I went by my bank's apparent reliance on it and their recommendation that it be installed. It is interesting to see the Related Solutions about uninstalling Rapport - I shall look closely at these.
