Just updated on my XP and ran into problems. First after updating and rebooting it deleated my Int. Security Icon (was still inabled though), disabled my anti-v.(could not enable)and disabled my curser xp.

I had to use system restore twice and it's better but still not back to normal.

My Int. Sec. globe in the lower right corner has an "X" by it and says it's disabled but shows up as enabled when I open it's window up.

This sounds like a typical M$ update if it wasn't Norton. Anyone else have problems?

I just updated on my XP Pro,without a hitch.

I'm guessing you have Norton Internet Security...which I do not run.

But,my "Cursor XP" is running fine.

Honestly, I'd hold off a short time on MS updates for now, as they have some serious issues going on over there.

I know they are NAV updates, but was addressing what yellow belt referred to MS updates being an issue, but NAV lately is OK
