Why Is My Mg2460 Printer Saying Cartridge Ink Levels Are Low

are too low when I have just replaced both the black and coloured cartridge.
Also the cartridges are staying to the far right and will not move to the middle of the machine

    1. Occasionally the ink has gotten on the contacts of the ink cartridge or its mating contacts in the printer. Try using a Q-Tip with a quality rubbing alcohol on it to clean them and dry them off. Allow to air out for a couple of minutes and try them again/
