i install win98 in my computer , after that i download new version of yahoo messanger 7.5, but as i went to use there message :

yes Noand as if i click yes or no in both options there IM open and in lower box of IM message right but at upper nox of IM nothing appears, after taht i try with older version of yahoo messanger , there no problem , wht can i do now ,to use yahoo messanger with voice chat 7.4 on my computer ?
download&install newest java from http://www.java.com
then restart and reinstall yahoo messenger and try again

i install (J2SE Runtime envoirement 5.0 update 7 ) as u adviced, and reinstall yahoo messanger 7.5 but problem still there, one more thing as i install J2SE Runvime envorement 5.0 update 7 from website n restart computer , i find J2SE Runtime envourment 5.0 update 7.in add and remove software in control panel, but no indication of J2SE on desktop or in program menu, now tell me what can i do to use yahoo messanger 7.5 on my win98 PC.

I'd like to see your hijackthis log please.Don't run these:
1) download & save Ewido micro scanner:
http://download.ewido.net/ewido_micro.exe
2) download & save ccleaner: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
(Latest version)
3) download & save hijackthis: http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zipNow:
1) run ewido micro scanner, it self updates through internet, and then you must scan your pc for infections, and when that is done, remove all the infections found.
2) install & run ccleaner, click 'analyze' and then 'run cleaner'.
3) RESTART (important step)
4) extract hijackthis.zip to a folder, from where you must run hijackthis.exe
5) CLOSE ALL PROGRAMS, only hijackthis to be running.
6) In hijackthis, click on "do a system scan and save a logfile"
7) Post here the contents of the notepad that just opened
