yahoo mail redirect to untrusted site??

July 7, 2010 at 13:14:41
Specs: Windows 7

I was logged in to yahoo mail and then went to throw a load of laundry in and now I came back and hit refresh and it says the site is "The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address."
Now every time I go to yahoo and click on mail I get this certificate error. Is this something wrong with yahoo or do I have a virus?
The url it tries to take me to is https://l35.member.re3.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?.intl=ca&.src=ym

If this is a yahoo server then why would it all of a sudden come up with the warning\?

Sounds like a Phish. Clear your temporary internet files by running CCleaner. Then, restart the machine to clear all.

Go to Yahoo again and observe. This kind of thing can also occur from the local user roaming folders where java trojans like to hang out. A full system scan with your choice of anti-spyware/virus program is in order while disconnected from the net..
