Hi folks,

Posted a smilar message in a previous thread but was unsure if many people would see it.

I was recently (last couple of days) infected with the virus Yaha.E@mm. I have removed it now and all seems ok.

I am interested to know why that virus causes your PC to slow to a crawl when connected to the internet but apparently run normally when not connected. Anybody got an explanation for this.

Because the virus is busy sending out emails while you are online, so busy that even trying to load simple txt web pages takes noticeably longer.
