xp and Norton ( a beta version)

when i instal xp.. i found this problem whit my norton systems works 2002.., if i was using norton firewall 2002 too.. i will get an error message everytime i restart..
went to symantec site and.., found out that this ocurred bacause of my systemsworks 2002 is a Beta version..
tryng to do all updates, but i canīt..it fails everytime, the ones that fails are norton utilities , speed disk, and symredirect.... can i do the update somewere else..?..or got to have the final version and not the beta version...to have the Norton working at 100%...

I have Norton Systemworks 2002 pro.
I bought it via Ebay. As far as it was advertised it is the final version.
Is there anything on your disc to suggest it is the beta version ?
I have not installed my disc.

you can tell whether it is the beta version when you run liveupdate, and it tells you that you have a pre-release version and it refuses to allow you to download the updates to norton utilities or speed disk.
