Comment: One day i was in the Windows folder looking for something.I noticed a internet shortcut to a webpage there in the Windows folder.I clicked on it and it opened an audult website.How could this happen when i don't even look at porn.Can a perverted hacker do that?

Reply: (edit)hi uofga, hackers, perverted or not, can do anything they want if they gain control of your machine. make sure your protected: firewall, anti-virus/trojan, registry, process, and port monitors, anti-adware and spyware. don't open any email from people you don't know, if its to good to be true, watch out. don't use peer to peer programs such as kaaza. configure your email client properly--- close preview pane, and uncheck box where it asks you to automatically open attachments. hope this helps, all the best, murve

Reply: (edit)Porn shortcuts usually [not always] come from browsing porn or warez sites. A religious 'moral' hacker could do it so i assume a perverted one could :).
