I have a worm or trojan or something on my computer that causes certain programs to close as soon as I open them. I have tried to get rid of this before. I have ran HijackThis in Safe mode, and I deleted the entries other than the ones I knew. I restart my computer normally, and it is fine, but next time I turn it on, it starts happening again. It must be getting re-infected somehow. How can I get rid of this worm for good?

Dont format!!!
Go to start/control panel/system/ and click the system restore tab then disable system restore
Run your Hijack this
and download, update and run Ewido Anti-Malware in safe mode
If this doesnt clear the worm , try Trojan Remover Trial
Also what is the name of the worm??
After you run these scans and get rid of the worm go back into System restore and re-enable it .

Well, I updated ZoneAlarm the other day, and it came with a spyware detection add-on. It removed a few items and the worm seems to be gone. If it comes back, I will post back here.
