For winxp/2000 possible win98.

a few techs i know are working on a program to monitor any incomeing changes made to windows xp os,which will alert you that something has added strings to registry or let you view changes made to registry within a certain amount of time etc. (seconds mins hours days)
hopefully will stop the problem of crapware getting into your registry etc.(adware malware spyware underwear).

good luck folks.

It'll generate a whole lot of output. Have they run a registry monitor to see how many changes are made in say an hour of typical use? It's thousands. Unless it only monitored important keys like the RUN keys, there'd be too much to digest.

There are already commercial tools that do just this sort of thing.
