abetterinternet is spyware crap...
http://kephyr.sureshot.xaviermedia.net/spywarescanner/library/abetterinternet/

To remove the spyware, uninstall windows media player via add/remove programs in the control panel. Then delete the bdl84126.exe file. You should also look for a file called pup.exe as they seem to be coming together. If you find it go ahead and delete it too. Then just go to microsoft.com and run windows update to download a clean copy of WMP. Problem solved.

uhhh... how do you uninstall WMP? its not in the uninstall list.
there is a windows media player hotfix is that it? i'd say no

The hotfix is one of the things that should be uninstalled, though there should also be another listing entitled Windows Media Player System Update 9. If not then just do a search for "Windows Media Player" to find its folder and delete the entire folder. If you do delete the folder, you may have to download it from the microsoft site manually, thought that depends on whether it uses the registry or files to determine if an update is needed, I'm not really sure which.
