Greetings!
I have a problem removing winupgro.exe virus from my Vista Business 64 bit system. I followed the steps on using the combofix app but it will not even start displaying this error:
"Oncopatible OS. ComboFix only works for Windows2000 and XP."
I`ve searched the net for a Vista version but none found. I hope I did not additionaly damage my Vista with it.
Should I try with HJT?
It blocked my Avast antivirus.I can not shut down winupgro.exe service nor delete it, but i can and allways do kill the winupgro.exe service at startup. I tryed scaning witch Ad-Aware and Avast, offcourse got no luck.

I can't help on this but have noticed that if you Google with the string "Winupgro.exe virus" there are a number of suggestions. If you've not already done so it might be worth taking a look while you are waiting for advice on here. There are also a number of links to Computing.Net posts below (in "Related Posts").
