Hello... I currently have an issue with my PC... I contracted a virus program called winupgro.exe that has been hogging around 90-95% of of the CPU.

I looked up some topics here on the issue that downloaded the ComboFix program.

I ran the program and everything according to the guides, but the issue of me not having access to anti-virus programs and spyware programs still remains. Everytime I try to open a program like Avast! Antivirus or Hijackthis I get a message saying that it is not a valid Win32 application.

So... I'm pretty stumped at this point... What's going on here?

You will probably have to uninstall those programs giving you the "not a valid Win32 application" error and reinstall them.
