Comment: alright, I read a post about wintools, and found that i had it on my computer. I did a search, and found wintools in my windows/system32 directory (or just plain system) and i also found it in common files/Wintools. I quickly deleted both of them, but due to curiosity, I clicked on Wintools.exe. Nothing happened, so i deleted it and emptied my recycle bin. Now, when i see the logon screen, it tells me there is 1 program running, but i look in task manager, and none are running. If it helps I could post the running processes, but i don't know if that would help. I did a spybot sweep, norton antivirus (although my copy is messed up, though not virus related) and adaware, and nothing was detected. If it is in my registry, please help me get rid of it.

Reply: (edit)I'm sorry, but I can't help you. But what is WinTools? If it's a virus/trojan/spyware, you shouldn't open it, since it could damage/affect your computer. Laogeodritt
