I have window 98 sec editon. I recently have caught the same bug everyone appears to have
i have nortons antivirus and spy bot..and while spybot caught a few things..i still get pop ups...i installed vundo fix since i saw many forums used that for it .and if found 6 files...it got rid of 5 of them ..
but one file in c/windows/system/vtusq.dll
was listed on the scan but wont remove it.i tried to manually thru find and delete and it
is being used by windows...could it be a corrupt file now? i still get pop ups on internet explore.. i was getting pop ups when i opened my documents folder for adult friend finder..but that seems to have stopped for now...spy bot and norton dont show any problems now..vundo fix dont delete that above file..could that be the problem? or is there some other things lurking in there....
im not that familar with posting files etc.....hijack etc...is there anything else(on line free)that i can check to make sure.

Try running virus and spybot scans in safe mode(f8),

empty temp folder,
empty temporary internet files folder,

manually move files to trash if needed,

run regedit, search for related file name(s), and delete

empty trash,
