I think this all started with some fake codec download, and now it's become an even bigger nightmare. There's Security Alerts Popping out from all sides and well you know it's a pain. Help!

Oh and I've downloaded Ad-awareAE and aren't sure where to find the Hyjackthis...

Restart the computer in Safe Mode with Networking (restart the computer and press F8 and select Safe Mode with Networking)

You can download and install Malwarebytes and scan your whole computer with Malwarebytes. It should must be updated

If you can't download malwarebytes then i guess Winiblue blocks other websites that provide anti-spyware applications too. I such case, you should try to remove it manually. There are many manual removal guides already. For example this one is good: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-win...

if malware bytes site is blocked then you should copy it from someone`s pc in flash drive, and if its setup is blocked from running,than rename the MBAM.exe and its other .exe files to other names and you,ll be able to install it
