Reply: (edit)There is a very easy and free fix for this. Norton does NOT work. go to www.spysweeper.com and download their free 14-day trial. It works.

Reply: (edit)I was frustrated with inability to remove WinFixer 2005 popups that continually told me that I had to download their product. Symantec, Norton don't do it. I read here of others with same situation. I tried their recommendation with Spy Sweeper 4.5 by Webroot (trial version). It worked like a charm, and, it removed 4 other adware items. My hard drive is clean as a whistle, in seconds. I gladly bought Spy Sweeper!
