I have just visited a client who reported that their WinXP system kept rebooting itself after a few minutes of use. After booting successfully in SAFE MODE I found the following two processes in startup (using the Microsoft Autostart tool):
pcvyxudi.exe omrruvmx.sys
Removing both of these from the start up and then running a complete scan with Norton cleared the problem.
I can't find any reference to these two files anywhere so thought I'd mention them here in cae anyone else hits the same problem.
