Hello.
I updated my windows vista home premium 32bit SP2, I saw an update named "Security update for Microsoft XML Core services 4.0 Service Pack 2", I updated, it said "Update successfull".
A second after, i've seen windows update sign again in the tray, clicked on it, and it shows me the same update again to update.
I updated like 10 times, and all of them are appearing in "Update History", but it still says I need to update it again..
That security update blocks a remote code execution exploit and such, so I am afraid someone can use it against me.
What should I do?

It still returns and asks me to update.
I recently installed BitDefender 2010 Full Security and it told me im missing that update, maybe BitDefender is somehow releated to this?

Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then press ENTER.
At the command prompt, type ren %windir%\System32\msxml4.dll msxml4.old, and then press ENTER.

Note After you press ENTER, you may receive the following error message.

Cannot find the file specified.

Ignore this message, and go to step 3.
At the command prompt, type exit, and then press ENTER.

then install it again

Well, now it just says update is not needed.
Solved I guess?
BTW, BitDefender is just annoying, its guarding too much my Instant Messaging programs and such, at least its not bugging me about this anymore.
What Antivirus+Firewall you suggest for a gamer and a torrent user?

kis 2010 is good, but slows the computer and the startup for a little

also avira premium is good

both antiviruses have firewall

i have tried out these ones and they prove a good protection
