Hello everyone!

I recently started getting automatic update notifications stating that there was an update for Windows Defender. Everytime I download and install, 10 minutes later, I get another notification for the same update in my taskbar.

I've tried restarting after the update, uninstalling/reinstalling. It just won't take this update. Any clues?

On another note...I've been trying to uninstall GetRight from my PC, and it just will not uninstall. I've even gone so far as to delete the file from my Program Files folder and this thing won't get out of dodge!

Could these be related in any way?

It might help if I told you this...

I finally got Get Right off my PC, but the Windows Defender issues remain. This is the update it's attempting to make:

Definition Update 1.14.1314.1 for BETA Windows Defender (KB915597)

Issue date: 3/8/2006

When I attempt a Microsoft Update through Start>Programs it shows me the update but it says that it's a 0kb file. I can't help but wonder if this is a Microsoft issue. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I love you! That did the trick...I swear I looked at the FAQ though, but must've missed that somehow!
