Reply: (edit)If it is "C:\Windows\winlogon.exe", it means that your antivirus have removed winlogon.exe which is probably a virus. because winlogon.exe is located at C:\Windows\System32\ folder. Check msconfig>startup and uncheck the winlogon.exe. If its not there scan your pc with spybot. I think you still have spyware in your pc. As for your wifi, after spybot scan and found noting, check your settings or post at netwoking forum if you still having probs.

Reply: (edit)If my virus scan did remove the virus, I dont recall it doing so. I do not recall deleting any viruses. I do not understand what you mean by "Check msconfig>startup and uncheck the winlogon.exe." I have scanned my computer over again with PC Tools spyware doctor and Norton Internet Security 2008, and have found nothing. I even did so in safe mode

Reply: (edit)Did you check the log of your AV? For msconfig. At Start button>Run type "msconfig" the at Startup menu find the winlogon.exe line and uncheck it then click OK. Don't rely with only 2 antivirus or anti spyware not all virus can be detected by a single AV. install more and if thats makes you pc slow uninstall after scan. If you still found nothing and didnt fix your problem, just ignore that message because as I said before winlogon.exe which is a system file is located at c:\windows\system32\ folder so that file c:\windows\winlogon.exe is a junk.

Reply: (edit) Please download and install the latest version of HijackThis v2.0.2: Download the "HijackThis" Installer from this link: Hijack This 1. Save " HJTInstall.exe" to your desktop. 2. Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run the program. 3. By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis. 4. Accept the license agreement by clicking the "I Accept" button. 5.Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log. 6. Click "Save log" to save the log file and then the log will open in Notepad. 7. Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log. 8. Paste the log in your next reply. 9. Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet! Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
