My computer has been infected with Windows Antivirus Pro. It won't let me open most programs and it doesn't recognized EXE files anymore. I can access the internet but not the registry. Help??

I had the same thing installed on my comp. I got that cleaned off with AVG but the Google Redirects and Trojan are still there. Currently working through that now. There are a few other threads here about this problem and you may have some luck working through the steps given. Unfortunately, mine was not resolved so easily.

Hi Snarticus, Windows Antivirus Pro is a fake rogue spyware program. its a clone of System Antivirus Pro. these programs are virus themselv altought they appear to be a security program. its a scam. you should remove these spyware fake programs from your pc. for proper manual and auto removal guide, see http://darfuns.com/spyware-removal/...
