Win7 with blue screen and no dvd/cd

I have a virus which continually puts me to the blue crash memory dump screen. My Norton ran out and I shut my computer off until I got the new one but when I turned my computer on this started. I tried in safe mode a couple of times to install the new virus software but now my computer does not even register that that drive is there. I ran a series of the internal tests and tried restore but nothing is working. Does anyone have any ideas. I just purchased this laptop 30 days ago.
