Ok-I finally got my computer back up and running, ran a virus scan and it detected a Win32/Partie virus in each single .exe and some other files on my computer, and it seems to be spreading more and more every 5 minutes.

Any idea on how to get rid of this? If I quarrantine it i cant run anything on my computer.

Try removing the registry entry first,

Click Start > Run > type regedit and click OK.
Click the + next to the following keys

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft
Windows
Current Version

Scroll down and click on the Explorer folder (not the + sign)
In the right hand window locate PINF. Right click on this entry and click delete. Collapse the registry tree, close regedit and reboot. Run a full scan

I done exactly what you said. Scanned, it, no virus found (last time it was 308 so thats good), I went to run a .exe file, same errror message, tried another, still got the problem.

My computer also seems to be running much slower and half the time my stary menu and hard drive appears to be empty.
