Subject: win2000 lost admin passwd, on RAID- |
Comment: Hi, I have found several utilities and methods for recuperating a lost admin password on a win2000 server. And most work fine on a server with regular FAT32 or NTFS partitions on SCSI or IDE disks, but nothing seems to work if win2000 is installed on a RAID-5 partition. Does anyone know if there is a way to recover or change the lost admin password on a windows2000 server installed on a RAID-5?

Reply: (edit)Is the server a domain controller?? If it is I think you are pretty much screwed. If not, you should be able to delete the SAM even though the drives are striped... I dunno... but it is worth a try.
