Hi,

I have a strange problem.
I am running Win XP Sp2 with Firewall enabled with default settings.
I have just installed
SafeNet SoftRemote 8.0.2 Gnat Box VPN Client to give me access to my office from home through my ADSL line.

When i activate the client, it doesn't connect. I know this is an issue with the Firewall, as if i turn it off, it connects straight away.
The strange thing is, is if i turn the firewall off and connect the Client and then start the firewall up again, it doesn't error, the connection is still live.

I need to know what exception to enable in my firewall to allow this client to pass through permanently.

I know you will need more info to give me an answer, so just ask and i'll let you know whatever you need.

Thanks
Phyto

Thanks for the tips XPUser, but i have already looked at these and no joy.

I add the program and the port, but it still blocks it.
Very strange issue...
