Comment:

Every time I move my cursor into the system tray, my firewall and norton av icon dissapears. Also, if I keep a norton or zone alarm window opened too long it closes itself out. This all started when I opened a file that I downloaded from the internet. Now my zone alarm internet access memory gets deleted every time I start the computer. I tried getting help from Nortons, but they dont know what is happening. Any help would be appreciated. I also tried the Klez tool and scanned my computer with trend microsystems housecall.

I would try the on line scan from PANDA and Symantec. If everything is clean then I would uninstall Zone Alarm(new update is out and you should get it anyway), and Norton. Then scan again using the on line from Housecall, Panda, Symantec. I would then test a anti-trojan program for a 30 day trial from PC FLANK using recommendations(I use Agnitum's Tauscan), and check for a trojan. If everything is clean, then I would reinstall Norton and Zone Alarm. You should then notice that you have received a free gift from Symantec. All the best!
