I have what I precieve to be a virus that has taken over my system, It has locked me out of loging on to windows. i cammot log in either in safe mode or normal to either administrator or user .
I have used password Genius and have used it during boot to unlock the user name and administrator name, only to have the log in window and prompt roll over and keep saying saving your settings andn resetting itself. I cannot get into windows xp to do any damage control. I was deleating email when my advir prompt came up and told me it had detected an unwanted program. I directed it to deny access and it locked up. after about 5 minutes I restarted the computer and found what seems to be mw locked out of windows with a new password. It seems to be some sort of script running for I can see the safe mode screen flicker in the background as it rolls over saying saving your settings and returns to the log in prompts. The computer seems to be up and functional as I can access a mivie folder I have on it via my xbox. can anyone please help? I can't find any info on this as yet . Im sure someone out ther ahs had the same problem. please contact. D. Biegel @cuui01@comcast.net
