One thing that the spammer is hoping for is that you will e-mail him/her/it back to take yourself off their mailing list. When you do this all you are doing is confirming that your e-mail account is active. Then your e-mail address can be sold to other spammers. And so on, and so on, and so on. Whatever you do not respond to them!

Good I decided not to reply this time.
And what is the point of being a spammer? What good do they get on this?

Spammers hope to get internet users to visit a site that they would not normally visit, the majority being porno. And as I said, they gather information either for thier own use or to sell to other companies. It's a lucrative business if you devote the time to it. It cost my organization a few thousand dollars in order for me to filter this type of e-mails from our system. And the people that sale the filtering software know they have you over a barrel. Especially in my situation where there is school kids involved and we by law have to have Content Filtering in place. Later!

If you were making fun of him, shame on you. If you were just trying to figure out what "Spawned" means, I think Eduardo was meaning to say "Spammed" (at least from the context of his message).
