Why do Google URL links go to wrong site?

Specs: Windows XP

I find a link from Google search that I want. When I select the URL it takes me to another search site.

Thanks - I found a response to a similar issue posted on this site where STOPZILLA was suggested. I bought it for $20 and it appears to have fixed the problem.

stopzilla is one of the worst, wasting money on junk. Malwarebytes is free and removes more than stopzilla.
