|I would still try powering off the router as it is easy to try. I realise it's quite a long shot as you are on the same computer but I've definitely had it fix the most unlikely of symptoms.|
While we are into magic type ideas, discharging the motherboard components can unstick computers at times. Again it is easy to try:
Turn off computer, remove power cord, remove main battery too if it is a laptop. Before putting it back together hold the Power Off/On button down for at least 20 seconds.
One more thing to try:
From Internet Explorer go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and hit the Reset button. You will not lose your favorites. Add-on will vanish but they soon come back with usage.
Don't overlook response #1 - that program often shows up browser issues.
