If you are asking what HijackThis does then it lists all your running tasks (whether they be started from files or the registry). It is then up to you or someone to decide which are normal and which if any are nasties. You can then tell it to remove what you have selected. That's why you have to be careful because you might remove the wrong thing. If you are asking about the autoanalyze (CLICK HERE) then this attempts to work out what is good or bad when you have pasted your log into it. VERY generally the green ones are fine (keep 'em), the red ones are bad (let HijackThis remove them) and the question marks are "don't knows". These require manual analysis. Derek.W

As I remember, you weren't too bad off, just a couple of spyware, and BHOs, but I can't remember everything in detail now.
