Which program is best for removing TROJ.Small.AR?

I run a scan and found that there was the above mentioned on the computer...my question is...HOW do I remove it. The scan said that it could not remove it. TIA

hi tammy, here's how you can remove it manually if you feel that you would rather do it using a software try going to www.thepublicworks.com security section, link to free ants for a free download of A Squared, get latest defs and scan your machine: TrojanDownloader.Win32.Small.ar: Downloader. A program designed to retrieve and install additional files, when run. Most will be configured to retrieve from a designated web or FTP site. hi tammy, do control alt delete to get into your running processes, and see if you have any of those processes listed: 00aaaa.exe a.exe, confwin.exe, drg.exe, server.exe trojandownloader.win32.small.a.exe, etc... if found delete or kill running task. then go to your windows directory and see if you can find those files that you had in your task box that you killed also check your windows system directory and do the same. then empty your temporary internet files including all offline stuff. you can do this while your are online by hitting your tools button, then internet options button, then hit your delete files button when there also check off the delete all offline content. hope this helps, murve
