hi,

I know i asked this in the other forum but i figured i posted this same problem inthe wrong place... so here it is again.

just installed sp2 and i'm having difficulty deciding whether to use sp2 firewall (windows new firwall) or stick to my sygate pro firewall?

Or is it ok to run both firewalls?

any opinions?
cheers

Disable the XP sp2 firewall. It only works on incoming. Sygate is fine .

I will repeat here for you what I have just stated in your other POST:

I don't think its wise to run two software firewalls at the same time in the background. I read from aumha.org website that this can cause both firewalls to stop working altogether.
