Im looking to buy a new Anti-Virus but im not sure which one would be really good.
Im currently using Norton Internet Security 2004 and Adware 6.0, but i want to buy a new one to put on my boyfriends computer.

Any suggestions?

are you looking for antivirus or antispyware? thats different programs.

there are more than 350 spyware removers in the market: some of them are really bad and made to deceive you, others are quite good. Some of them are free of charge, some - are not.
Read reviews:
here is the list of good antispyware programs and here is the list of bad programs called corrupt antispyware.

From the Free Ones and Quite good ones ARE: MS Antispyware, Spybot, Adaware. But free is not always the best solution, because they update their databases more slowly. From the commercial ones and recommended are: Spyware Doctor, Pest Patrol, Spy sweeper

i really like AVG freeware. if u've decided to buy something, buy AVG Pro which seems to be best.

Hi,
I use the Free version of Avast Anti-Virus. In my opinion it's "Excellent". Has caught a lot of emails that had viruses inside of them. The free virus definitions are automatic downloaded, so you never have to worry about keeping it updated. Just make sure you complete weekly virus scans on your computer.
