My computer recently crashed. After I restarted it:
-the desktop won't load -explorer.exe won't load -Zonealarm keeps saying that "Regsvr32" is attempting to monitor and record my keystrokes, etc -If i block it from doing that, other random windows processes will attempt to monitor my keystrokes -The only way I can navigate is by using task manager -Every time I load something, zonealarm would say that the very program wants to monitor my keystrokes, and regsrvr32 will load into the list of processes in the task manager -i've tried numerous of different virus scans and registry fixers, but none of them have healed my computer. -i've tried reformatting it but even the installation process has errors.

Sounds to me like your hard drive has suffered a head crash. You have a laptop and those hard drives take a lot of abuse. I could be wrong though. I would repartition it first and see if I could install windows. If that fails its definately a bad drive. www.partedmagic.com for free partitioner If I had it I would run spinrite on it. www.grc.com or just go ahead and buy a new hard drive. I believe it uses an ata-5 drive.
