For over a month now I've been having a problem with SpyBot. It searchs and finds updates, but keeps freezing when I try to d/l them. Eventually I find a mirror that it will d/l from, but then I get "Bad checksum". I have done at least 5 new d/l's and installs from different sites. After each of the uninstalls, I have cleaned it out of the registry, etc.

Try downloading one item at a time and use the safenet mirror.

Old Salt-- Thanks, that worked. However, it's a workaround for a SpyBot problem that's existed for quite a while now; and what that problem does is diminish the program's value: eg: If they can't fix this problem, how does one know SpyBot is really fixing the problems it finds on a scan.

Just to elaborate (In case someone else sees this post) I had to exit spybot and re-enter it before I could download the updates 1 at a time. I kept getting check sum errors before I exited and restarted. What happened to my quote
