as i posted months and months ago..here is the best possible setup i found for max protection, u can either agree or disagree what is best for your computer.

for antivirus i only use
1. NOD32....WHY because its the best damn av out there period read up on facts and do your own testing..as with any choice in software u make.
www.nod32.com

for spyware detection free and paid.

1. adaware
2. spybot s&d
3. pestpatrol
4. spyware eliminator

for a trojan detection program thats is very good and user friendly ...which most peps like.

1. trojanhunter 4.0

for firewall protection both free and paid

1.sygate firewall..free
2. zonealarm pro 4 or 5 version.

this is a setup i put on all my customers and show them a quick tour of nod32 on how to use both standard scan and in depth scans..if they ever have a problem

of course u are your own judge so use what i reccommend as reference...or take it very serious.

goodluck on your way to being protected the best way possible.

Avast! is a really good free AV and has on-line up-dates as you surf the net.

If you need a simple solution, try mine. I try to give advise on things that have happened to my PC. Changes in registry can be FATAL! Glad to have a chance to help you.
