Trickler is spyware
Check out the post on:
http://www.computing.net/security/wwwboard/forum/2432.html You need to basically download Ad-Aware from lavasoftusa.com and Spybot Search and Destroy from Wilders.org
It should eliminate it.

Reply: (edit)The above reply is correct. Trickler is part of Gator. I would not give it internet access. I recommend Sbybot over AdAware to remove trickler and other spyware.
