Comment: Hi - I have Zone Alarm Pro running on W98SE and recently I get several alerts everytime I go online that "Unknown Process:-532881 (Find Error)" is trying to access the internet. The destination is pop3.norton.antivirus. The number part of the "Unknown Process" changes every time, so I can't check the box that says for Zone Alarm to remember this next time. So, needless to say, there are 30 of this same "program" (all with different numbers) under the Programs tab in Zone Alarm. What is this and why does the number change every time? The Symantec Live Update has permission to access the internet, so if this other thing is part of that, why is it asking over and over all of a sudden? PLEASE HELP

Reply: (edit)pop3.norton.antivirus is your pop3 mail .. the norton pop3 scanner .. so if you don't use a pop3 client like outlook express etc then block it .. but it isn't malicious .. as far as i can see

Reply: (edit)cindi. don't block this because most mail servers that you hook up with ( ie like your isp's has some type of configuration for you to receive email. if you want your email scanned when it comes in or out . for zone alarm you want to enable the agent to access the internet if you don't you will have problems receiving email and sending email.
