ALL ARE DIFFERENT NUMBERS (IN BLUE) ETC, BUT THERE ARE ABOUT 30 OR 40 LISTED IN THE WINDOWS FOLDER AT THE START.
IS THIS NORMAL? FOR AN XP OS, HOME ED, OLD...DELL, 8000 ETC.

They are the installation/uninstallation folders for Microsoft Updates. Don't just delete them. If they are using too much disk space look at this article.
