what is jqs@sun.com/why isn't a local binary name used by FF

Specs: Windows XP
Firefox lists an extension under the name "java quick starter" for Firefox 7.0.1 as "jqs@sun.com"
Why is the name "jqs@sun.com" ? Does this mean FF is always connecting to Sun whenever it starts? Not too happy with this idea if so, how do I know what information is passed to Sun?. Or does "jqs@sun.com" refer to some exe/binary that was downloaded from Sun at some time in the past? Thanks

It appears that it has something to do with an add-on which can be removed. Search Google for that email address.
