I suddenly had a very strange desktop, and my desktop icon on the windows desktop went missing, and no matter what I did , would not re-appear. Desperate ,I resolved to use System Restore to get my machine back to what it was 2 weeks ago when brand new. The Restore program tried to go back , but ended up saying "no can do" and stated that an antivirus program that I had installed , called ... , A**** was causing a problem and I should first remove it, and then try again. It was then that I noticed that this " Application Kill "had been installed and wondered if it was a virus or something. Anyone any ideas?
