Specs: vista ultimate 32bit, p4 3.4 ghz, 2gb ram
what is a good program to speed up your pc, like fix your registry, defrag, all that stuff. What do you think is the best?
doesn't matter if its free or not.

I use Windows built-in applications, and manual edits/deletions, etc. I've heard good things about CCleaner also.

This probably should have been posted in either the XP Forum or the Office Software Forum. Your question isn't related to Security or Virus problems.

well a lot of programs like spybot is a security software, but it fixes your computer, im not using windows built in crap. you shouldn't answer the question with another question

Touchy, touchy.

Personally, I've been VERY happy with Iolo System Mechanic. It keeps my registry spiffy, and does all those other little tasks MUCH better than Windoze stuff does. It also regularly backs up the registry, allowing you to recover quickly and easily from those annoying .dll glitches that occasionally prevent Windoze from booting up. It's pretty cheap, and they allow you to install and update up to three PCs.

I use TuneUp utilities. Don't know if it really helps, but, at least, doesn't damage my PC =)
