Hi thanks for reading,
Has anyone noticed recently that it's real hard to find just normal keyboard. I went to the shop the other day and most of them had extra features and such, but I could not find a single normal keyboard. Is this another ploy for them to get more money?
Also I notice the same with Mouse's aswell.
What's up with that?

Noticed the same thing this weekend. There is not much profit in a cheap basic keyboard. Bigger profit if they can charge higher prices for "features" that don't really cost any more to add.
Look real close on the lower shelves, I found a few basic cheap keyboards there, and a few mice hidden in the back.
I was looking for a cheap basic (not hot, fast or big) disk drive. There were none to be had under 60Gb and $100. Only needed something in the 2G to 5G range. Was also looking for a cheap small monitor. Nothing but expensive, large flat screens or LCD's.
Will try looking at a few other places where profit is not the only bottom line.

Same problem in UK - managed to find a 'normal' 105 key PS/2 Keyboard here for £10http://www.keyboardco.com/
Can't help for US

:) Last thing i expected in the security forum was a link to the exact keyboard i'm after and for relative peanuts. You've saved me some surfing Lesley.
Thanks for that link :)

Forgot to mention the Postage which puts the price up a bit but it was still worth it for a nice Keyboard!
