Comment: I'm just curious about something. I have Spyware Blaster and Ad-aware installed on my computer. I delete the temporary internet files and cookies daily. I update Ad-aware weekly and run a scan with Ad-aware every now and then and it has never found anything on my computer. I'm wondering if ad-aware is really necessary if I have spyware blaster?

Reply: (edit)People who install and use Adaware are aware of the problems and avoid sites and programs that are a problem. But what about when you click on the "wrong" link and get redirected to a site you would otherwise never go to?

Reply: (edit)If you keep SpywareBlaster updated you are OK 99%. This 1% that maybe SBlaster misses will be covered by Ad-aware... By the way this is also my experience, Ad-aware didn't find anything in my PC the last six months but I must say I don't use IE except for Windows Updates. I use Opera browser which is safer...
