Yes, i would like to know what exactly is this "realsched"? Is it a virus, trojan, spyware etc. I fofund it when i was looking at what programs were starting up when i started my comp. I thank you in advance

"Application Scheduler installed along with RealOne Player . Runs independently of RealOne Player, to remind AutoUpdate and Message Center to perform their tasks at pre-scheduled intervals. If it can't be disabled try deleting or renaming realsched.exe and then delete the entry in the registry"

Edsod above is correct. Trouble is that many folks think {and I'm one} that RealOne Player is full of spywear and realsched.exe is trying to "phone home" with information about you computer use.Check this out I have the RealOne and block it's access with my firewall

If you want to disable it, go to Start-Run-MSconfig-and uncheck tkBellExe. However, everytime you run RealPlayer it will be recreated. :-)
